What You’ll Do as a Bartender
Our bartenders are the heart of the guest experience. You will:
- Deliver proactive, personalized service by anticipating needs and creating a welcoming atmosphere from the first greeting.
- Craft high-quality beverages using standard recipes while confidently recommending specials and using thoughtful upselling techniques.
- Manage the full bar station: maintain inventory of liquor, garnishes, glassware, and supplies; ensure proper stock rotation and security.
- Handle payments accurately through our POS system, balance the cash drawer at shift end, and follow all accounting procedures.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation standards for all tools, equipment, and workspaces.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, stepping in with management support when needed to promote safe, enjoyable experiences.
- Collaborate seamlessly with servers and kitchen staff to handle both bar and dining room orders efficiently.
- Accommodate dietary requests and allergies while upholding all health, safety, and company policies.
The environment is lively, with varying noise levels and temperatures typical of a busy hospitality setting. Success here requires staying calm under pressure while multitasking effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
We’re looking for reliable team members who bring both skill and personality to the bar:
- Proven experience preparing beverages to consistent quality standards.
- Ability to efficiently stock and replenish all bar essentials during busy shifts.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical capability to stand for full shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and move safely in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills and comfort operating bar equipment such as blenders, knives, and POS systems.
- Commitment to responsible alcohol service and adherence to all local regulations.
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to assist in other areas as needed.
Previous bartending experience is preferred, but we value attitude and potential highly and provide comprehensive training.
